The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Baby Penguins set all-time team marks with a 9-0 win over their rival the Hershey Bears last night. It was the first time in team history that the Baby Penguins had two hat tricks in a game and largest margin of victory in a game. Ville Koivunen had four goals in the game, tying the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton team record for goals in a game. Vasily Ponomarev scored a hat trick, and defenseman Filip Kral had five points. Sergei Murashov stopped all 27 shots for his first career American Hockey League shutout. He is now 4-0 for the Baby Penguins after being promoted from the Penguins ECHL team in West Virginia. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton has won three games in a row, and are 23-10-4 this season.
