The Pittsburgh Penguins visit the Minnesota Wild tonight for an 8pm face-off. Pre-game on WISR begins at 7:30pm. Minnesota carries a seven-game winning streak into the game. The Wild defeated Philadelphia 4-1 Tuesday with former Penguins goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury in net. The Pens are coming off the 3-2 loss the New York Rangers.
The Penguins expect the return of winger Jason Zucker tonight after his recovery from a core muscle injury. Zucker has fully practiced the past two days and has been skating on the Evgeni Malkin line along with Rickard Rakell.
The Pens will visit the Colorado Avalanche for a Saturday afternoon game that will be nationally televised game. That game will have a 3pm face-off.
The Rangers moved three points ahead of the Penguins in the Metropolitan Division after they defeated the Detroit Red Wings 5-4 in overtime last night.
