The Pittsburgh Penguins open a four-game road trip this evening in Seattle. Face-off is 5pm. Pre-game on WISR begins at 4:30pm
The Penguins lost in a shoot-out to the Columbus Blue Jackets Saturday night. It was the 11th overtime loss of the year for the Penguins, which leads the Eastern Conference. Sidney Crosby scored his 26th goal of the season, after the Penguins pulled their goaltender. Crosby’s goal came with a minute remaining in regulation. Despite the loss, the Pens are still holding on to third place in the Metropolitan Division by one point over Washington. They have back-to-back games Wednesday and Thursday in Calgary and Edmonton.
