An online event scheduled for later this week will provide information for those starting a small orchard or growing berry plants.
Penn State Extension is offering a free webinar on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. titled “Living on a Few Acres: Tree and Small Fruit Production.”
Webinar participants will learn about basic concepts of fruit tree production, selecting fruit varieties, planting trees, and self-sufficient production methods.
A $5 registration fee accompanies this event and pre-registration to receive the link to the live webinar is required by visiting the Penn State Extension website.
