Penn State University made it official as they will close seven branch campuses across the state.
The board voted last week to close Penn State DuBois, Fayette, Mont Alto, New Kensington, Shenango, Wilkes-Barre, and York campuses.
The campuses will close in 2027 after the spring semester.
College officials say that will impact around 3 percent of students and 3 percent of faculty under the Penn State umbrella.
