A class for environmental educators interested in learning about how human activity influences watershed landscapes will be held later this week in Sarver.
Penn State Extension is offering the First Investigation of Stream Health Educator workshop tomorrow (Wednesday) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Buffalo Creek Nature Center.
Those attending will be able to learn how watershed landscapes and human activity influence stream health, including the impact on aquatic life, habitat, and visible pollution. Participants will also learn how to guide students in evaluating local streams.
There is no cost to participate but pre-registration is required since space is limited. Register online at the Penn State Extension website.
