The Penn Township Volunteer Fire Department tool bash that was previously scheduled for this weekend has been canceled.
Due to struggling ticket sales, increased competition, and rising costs to hold the event, the township decided to cancel fundraiser.
Any tickets that have been sold will be refunded by check or online refund depending on payment method.
In a statement released by the fire department they thanked the community for their support and will be exploring fundraising opportunities in the future.
