PennDOT announced two different projects that will improve roads in counties to Butler’s north.
In Mercer County, there will be a $2 million project to replace the bridge that carries Route 19 over Johnston Run in Springfield Township.
Meanwhile, in Venango County a nearly $775,000 paving project has been approved for two miles of Route 8 in Barkeyville and Irwin Township.
Both projects are expected to take place later this year.
