PennDOT is beginning early fall road project maintenance work around Butler County this week.
These activities include bridge repair on Route 528 in Jackson Township through Friday along with pipe replacement, which will be occurring on Ribold Road in Forward Township.
Patching is planned for McCalmont Road in Butler Township while crews will be sealing cracks along Interstate 79 in Jackson and Lancaster Townships as well as North Main Street Extension and West Sunbury Road in Center Township.
Shoulder work is planned for Route 8 in Butler Township as well as Three Degree and Cruikshank Roads in Adams, Penn, Middlesex, and Forward Townships.
