Motorists in Butler City should be aware of a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation project beginning tonight.
Crews are expected to begin work on a signal upgrade project along the Route 68/Route 356 corridor in the City of Butler from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
In addition, sidewalk ramps will be upgraded at the intersections of Hansen Avenue and Monroe Street. The goal of the work is to improve timing of signals and reduce congestion as well as achieve ADA compliance.
Work on this nearly $4 million project is expected to continue through the end of the year or until the project has been completed.
