A plan to detour exit ramps on I-79 in Portersville has been delayed.
The work is a part of the project to replace the Portersville Bridge that goes over I-79.
Originally scheduled to begin tomorrow, PennDOT officials say the plan to close Exit 96 in both the northbound and southbound lanes won’t start until July 24th.
Whenever the lanes are closed, Route 488 will still maintain two-lane traffic.
The detour will utilize Route 19 and Route 488—signs will be posted.
