The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is continuing late-summer road project maintenance work around Butler County this week.
These activities include pipe work on Dick Road in Connoquenessing Township, and bridge repair on Route 528 (Prospect Road) in Franklin Township.
Patching will be taking place on Route 8 in Penn Township, while crack sealing work is planned for Route 422 in Franklin Township. Butler Township will be the site of some pipe flushing along Whitestown, Eberhart, and New Castle Roads.
Crews will also be shoulder cutting along Centerville Pike and West Liberty Road in Slippery Rock Township, and New Castle Road in Worth Township. Mowing is planned for Prospect and Evans City Roads in Forward Township as well as Route 19 in Jackson Township, Ekastown Road in Clinton Township, and Freeport Road in Summit Township
