The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is continuing summer road project maintenance work in Butler County this week.
These activities include bridge work, which will be occurring along Hooker Road in Fairview Township and pipe replacement along Myoma Road in Adams Township along with mill and fill on Glen Eden Road in Cranberry Township.
Patching will be taking place on Herman Road in Summit Township, Route 422 in Muddy Creek and Franklin Townships, and Cemetary Road in various townships while chipping can be expected on Saxonburg Boulevard in Clinton Township along with Dinnerbell Road in Jefferson Township.
Shoulder cutting is planned for New Castle Street and Elwood City Road in Zelienople Borough and Routes 68 and 528 in Jackson Township.
