The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is continuing spring road project maintenance work around Butler County this week.
These activities include drainage work along Brownsdale Road in Penn Township, Cemetery Road in Marion Township, and Branchton Road in Cherry Township along with pipe replacement along Route 528 (Prospect Road) in Forward and Connoquenessing Townships.
Patching will be taking place on Cruikshank Road in Middlesex Township, Three Degree Road in Penn and Forward Townships, Kline Avenue in Adams Township, Mars Evans City Road in Forward Township, Harmony and Shannon Roads in Connoquenessing Townships, Lower Butler and Hartmann Roads in Forward Township, and West Sunbury Road in Venango Township.
Shoulder cutting is planned for Route 8 in Brady Township while bridge cleaning will occur along Grant Street in Summit Township, Kittanning Pike in Donegal Township, Bruin Road in Parker Township, and Route 68 in Butler Township.
In Jefferson Township a seal coat project on Bonniebrook Road between Route 356 and Herman Road in Summit Township will get underway Tuesday and continue into Wednesday. Line Painting on that same stretch of Bonniebrook Road is planned to take place Friday weather permitting.
