PennDOT officials say that it’s a good time to make sure you have your REAL ID ready for travel season.
As many start to vacation to warmer destinations over the winter, PennDOT reminds potential travelers you need a REAL ID for a domestic flight.
REAL IDs can be applied for at the local drivers license and photo center. However, for those who received their license after 2003, you may have the documents already on file and can apply online.
Domestic flights will also accept a valid passport and military ID in order to board.
