PennDOT is reopening 23 more rest stops across the state—including a number of locations in Western Pennsylvania.
The decision comes nearly a week after PennDOT decided to reopen 13 rest stop facilities in the state.
Officials say there will be four rest stops reopening along I-79 in Mercer and Lawrence Counties.
Another location in Allegheny County on I-79 will reopen as well.
PennDOT says they will continue to evaluate other locations, and when they could reopen.
