PennDOT is now accepting proposals for a Public-Private Partnership for transportation projects.
These projects have to be for PennDOT-owned infrastructure and the goal is to create innovative ways to deliver transportation projects.
Projects can also include ways to make transportation more efficient.
Proposals will be reviewed by a seven-member Public Private Transportation Partnership Board. If they deem a project more suitable to be administered by a private company, PennDOT would issue a Request for Proposals and start a competitive procurement.
You can visit PennDOT’s website for more details and the final day to submit a plan is April 30th.
