The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation would like to know about driving behaviors of motorists state-wide.
PennDOT is seeking drivers’ input through a brief, online Highway Safety Survey concerning safety issues such as seat belts, impaired driving, speeding, motorcycles and distracted driving.
PennDOT will use the feedback from this annual survey to better understand the attitude and actions of the public concerning a variety of driving behaviors.
More than 10,000 people responded to last year’s survey. Notably, over 90% of respondents said they always wear a seat belt and 89% of respondents said they never drive while impaired.
The survey is available on PennDOT’s website through August 17th and should take about five minutes to complete. All responses, including the “comments” fields, are anonymous.
