There is still time for individuals and businesses from the private sector to submit proposals for transportation projects to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
PennDOT’s Office of Public-Private Partnerships will accept unsolicited proposals for PennDOT-owned projects and infrastructure through today (4/30).
Proposals should offer innovative ways to deliver transportation projects across different modes including roads, bridges, rail, aviation, and ports. Proposals can also include more efficient ways to manage existing transportation-related services and programs.
State law allows for PennDOT to partner with private companies to develop, maintain, and finance transportation related projects. Visit the state’s Public-Private Partnership website for more information.
