Motorists in southern Butler County should be aware of a PennDOT bridge project beginning tomorrow.
According to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the project will focus on bridges on Interstate 79 over Route 68 in Cranberry and Jackson Townships.
Workers with a contractor out of Franklin will be resurfacing the bridges with epoxy overlays. Work is expected to continue into the fall.
This project also involves culvert replacement and resurfacing work on Interstate 80 in Clarion and Jefferson Counties with an expected cost of nearly $10 million.
