With only a month left before federal Real ID enforcement begins, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is offering local residents another opportunity to obtain this documentation.
A Real ID Days event is planned to take place tomorrow (Monday) from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. at the Butler Driver License Center at the Point Plaza.
Residents are asked to bring the necessary documents to be verified and imaged. The Real ID will then be sent by mail within 15 business days. Visit PennDOT’s website for more information about the required documents.
Beginning May 7th, Real ID or another form of federally acceptable identification will be required to board domestic commercial flights or enter certain federal facilities including military bases.
