A new bill from the state house will temporarily remove the 180 days of instruction for schools in Pennsylvania.
The measure was unanimously approved by lawmakers yesterday.
The law allows the state’s Secretary of Education to close schools until the coronavirus epidemic is over. It also increases the number of flexible instructional days.
The bill now heads to Governor Tom Wolf’s desk to become law.
