
Pennsylvania continues to increase their surplus, thanks in part to funding from the federal government.
During November, the state collected $6.6 billion in tax receipts—however $3.8 billion on funds were via the American Rescue Plan. That money has been appropriated as replacement dollars for lost revenue.
For the fiscal year as a whole, Pennsylvania has now surpassed a $1 billion surplus.
