As many people prepare to observe Memorial Day, the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) reminds residents about an opportunity to give back to those who have given so much.
The Pennsylvania Veterans Memorial at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Lebanon County reopened to the public last year after months of repairs and alternations due to exposure to the elements.
One hundred percent of donations to this fund will go towards upkeep such as landscaping, lighting, and fountains as well as maintenance for structural and cosmetic components throughout the memorial.
Donations are tax deductible and can be made online through the DMVA website or through the mail to the DMVA Office for Veterans Affairs.
