Pennsylvania is extending unemployment benefits by another 13 weeks.
The Department of Labor and Industry announced the changes yesterday saying that if you have exhausted your 26 maximum weeks on unemployment—you will now be eligible for up to 13 more weeks of receiving benefits.
Officials also revealed that the state has already paid $9.6 billion in unemployment compensation claims.
