Attorney General Dave Sunday says that state residents lost over $76 million last year to scammers.
Sunday said as scammers continue to use cutting-edge technology, they are getting more creative in their fraud schemes.
He also said many scams are targeting seniors.
Sunday says phishing scams and government imposter scams were the top types of scams in Pennsylvania. The most common way people lost money were by wire transfers and bitcoin or crypto payments.
