The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Colorado Avalanche 4-3 in overtime Friday night at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.
It was a back and forth game from start to finish. The Pens gave up a lead 3-2 with 30 seconds left, sending the game into overtime. Just a couple of minutes into overtime Jared McCann scored the game winner. The other goals scored by the pens were from Teddy Bleuger, Evgeni Malkin and Bryan Rust. Matt Murray had 31 saves in the game.
The Pens will travel to Arizona for a 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. WISR 680am will have your coverage starting at 6:30 with the pregame show.
