The Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-2 last night at PPG Paints Arena. Rickard Rakell and Sidney Crosby each scored their seventh goals of the year for the Pens. Casey DeSmith stopped 28 of 32 shots in net.
The Penguins record fell to 6-7-3 overall this season and they begin a three-game road trip Thursday in Minnesota.
