The Pittsburgh Penguins lost to the San Jose Sharks 3-2 in overtime last night. The Sharks scored the game-winner on a power play in the extra period following a Kris Letang penalty. Patric Hornqvist scored both Penguins goals. Tristan Jarry stopped 29 of 32 shots for the Pens.
The Pens enter the weekend tied with the New York Islanders for second place in the Metropolitan Division. They will visit Montreal for a 7pm face-off Saturday (WISR airtime is 6:30pm), then return home to host Florida for a 5pm face-off Sunday. (WISR airtime is 4:30pm).
