The Boston Bruins defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 2-1 in the Winter Classic game played at Fenway Park yesterday. The Bruins scored two third period goals against back-up Casey DeSmith after Tristan Jarry left the game after suffering a lower-body injury. Kasperi Kapanen scored the Penguins goal in the second period.
The loss was the Penguins fifth in a row. They visit Vegas Thursday night.
