The Pens host Buffalo Wednesday as they continue a five-game home-stand. They are 32 games into their 56-game schedule with a record of 19-11-2 overall. With 24 games remaining, the Pens are four points behind the first-place Washington Capitals and New York Islanders. They lead fourth-place Boston by four points. The Pens are seven points up on Philadelphia, who are on the outside of a playoff spot.
