The Philadelphia Flyers defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-2 in exhibition hockey in Toronto last night. Penguins captain Sidney Crosby played in the game after sitting out of recent practices. Conor Sheary and Jason Zucker scored the Penguins goals. Goaltenders Matt Murray and Tristan Jarry split time in goal.
The Pens meet the Montreal Canadiens to begin the qualifying round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs this Saturday. Face-off is 8pm. Hear the game on WISR beginning at 7:30pm.
