The Edmonton Oilers defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-2 last night. It was the Pens third straight defeat. Reigning NHL MVP Connor McDavid had four points in the game for the Oilers. Jake Guentzel and Teddy Blueger scored for the Pens. Guentzel now has an NHL-best point streak of 11 consecutive games. The win moved Edmonton into first place over Calgary in the Pacific Division.
The Pens are currently in fourth place in the Metropolitan Division. They visit Vancouver Saturday night.
