The Pittsburgh Penguins held off the Tampa Bay Lightning with a 4-3 win last night in Tampa.
In a rollercoaster game, the Pens opened up with a 3-0 lead over Tampa, only to see it disappear by the 3rd period. Evgeni Malkin’s second goal of the night gave the Pens a 4-3 lead late in the 3rd. It appeared that Tampa Bay tied the game, but a hand pass was called and disallowed the game tying goal, allowing the Penguins to pick up the win.
Tristan Jarry faced 40 shots during the game, stopping 36.
The Penguins head to Dallas to take on the Stars Sunday night at 6 p.m.
