The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled goaltender Casey DeSmith from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to backup Tristan Jarry. Matt Murray was injured in Monday’s game against Philadelphia and will be out of the lineup “week-to-week” with a lower body injury. Murray could miss up to a month after being placed on injured reserve. The Pens visit Buffalo Friday.
