The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the New York Islanders 4-1 last night at PPG Paints Arena. Sidney Crosby opened the scoring for the Pens, netting his sixth goal of the season. The Pens also received goals from Teddy Blueger, Jason Zucker and Bryan Rust, who also joins Crosby with six goals. Tristan Jarry stopped 31 of 32 shots in net. Despite a solid win, the Pens power play continues to suffer, going 0-for-4.
The Pens host the Islanders again Saturday night at 7pm. Pre-game on WISR is 6:30pm.
