The Pittsburgh Penguins completed a trade with the Toronto Maple Leafs Tuesday – reacquiring forward Kasperi Kapanen along with forward Pontus Aberg and defenseman Jesper Lindgren in exchange for forwards Evan Rodrigues, Filip Hallander, defenseman David Warsofsky and the Penguins 2020 1st round draft pick – which will be the 15th selection overall.
Kapanen was the Pens first-round pick in 2015 and went to Toronto in the trade that brought Phil Kessel to Pittsburgh. He had 13 goals and 36 points for Toronto this season.
