The Pittsburgh Penguins visit the Washington Capitals tonight for a 7pm face-off. WISR will join the game following a Knoch Girls Basketball game. The Pens are carrying a three-game win streak into the game. They will head to New York to face the Islanders in back-to-back games this weekend.
The Pens have claimed defenseman Mark Friedman off of waivers from the Philadelphia Flyers. The right-handed defenseman was originally drafted by the Flyers in 2014 when new Penguins general manager Ron Hextall was with Philadelphia. He will join them on the current road trip.
