One person was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after a crash in Penn Township yesterday.
It happened around 12:30 p.m. on Route 8 South at the intersection with Weckerly Road.
Dispatchers say a vehicle went off the road and into a fence. There were also trees that were knocked down and fell on top of the vehicle.
Crews immediately called for a medical helicopter.
The victim was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital and then flown to a Pittsburgh hospital.
The cause of the crash is not known.
