The temporary protection from sexual violence order against a former Butler School board member has been withdrawn.
59-year-old Bill Halle was placed under the order after an alleged inappropriate relationship with a 17-year-old girl. The order was requested by the girl’s father, however she has now turned 18 and has requested that the order be dropped.
Although the protection order has been withdrawn, District Attorney Rich Goldinger said “that will have no impact on the criminal case” against Halle.
He is currently facing multiple charges including sexual assault by an employee of a non-profit association and corruption of minors.
Goldinger also said that Halle is “not permitted to have any contact with her as a condition of his bond in the criminal case.”
