The Pennsylvania Game Commission is planning a late-season pheasant release later this week.
The commission is releasing over 8,000 pheasants across the state this Wednesday and Thursday.
Locally this will happen in the northeastern corridor of Butler County, which includes areas like North Washington, Bruin, and Eau Claire.
Pheasant season runs through the end of the month.
