A physical therapist from the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex has been charged after he allegedly stole prescription pills form a patient at their home.
On September 30th, police were called to a home on the 100 block of Rolling Road in Cranberry for a report of stolen Oxycodone.
The victim told police that 42-year-old Trevor Delaney of Zelienople came to her home after canceling an appointment at the complex.
According to charging documents, when at the home Delaney asked to see what had been prescribed to the victim. At one point the victim left the room and that is when Delaney is alleged to have stolen 41 pills. The victim did not discover the stolen pills until they went to take one before bed.
When police spoke with Delaney he admitted to an undocumented visit to the victim’s home.
Delaney is facing several drug and theft charges and is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
