The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 5-3 last night at PNC Park. Pirates starter Paul Skenes had his worst major league outing in 26 starts, allowing a career-high five earned runs over six innings. He is now 0-3 against the Cards.
Bryan Reynolds had two of the Pirates six hits, including his second home run of the year.
The Pirates have had an announced attendance of just over 8,200 fans the past two games.
The Bucs and Cards complete their three-game series this afternoon. First pitch is 12:35pm. WISR pre-game begins at 12:10pm. Mitch Keller will start for the Pirates today.
The Bucs are off Thursday, then begin a three-game series in Cincinnati Friday night.
