The Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Milwaukee Brewers 6-1 Friday night.
J.T. Brubaker had a strong start for the Bucos going six innings and giving up four hits and one earned run. He also struck out eight batters. Adam Frazier had a two run triple in the game. Colin Moran and Gregory Polanco each hit solo homeruns in the game as well.
The Pirates are now 6-8 on the season and will play the Brewers again this (Saturday) evening in Milwaukee. You can hear coverage of that game on WISR 680am starting at 6:45 p.m. with the pregame show. First pitch goes out at 7:10 p.m.
