The Milwaukee Brewers magic number to clinch the National League Central is one. The Atlanta Braves, who have now won 100 games, and the Los Angeles Dodgers have already clinched their divisions.
In the American League – Tampa Bay has clinched the top Wild Card spot. Toronto and Houston currently have the other two Wild Cards, with Seattle 1-1/2 games back with six games remaining. Texas is 2-1/2 games in front of Houston in the A.L. West. Baltimore leads Tampa Bay by 2-1/2 games in the East.
Last night, the Rangers defeated the Angels 5-1. Houston defeated Seattle 5-1.
