The Pittsburgh Pirates lost to the Cleveland Indians 4-3 Friday evening.
Pirates Pitcher Mitch Keller had another good start throwing 5 innings without giving up a hit. That makes two starts in a row for Keller that he has not given up a hit. In Kellers last outing he went six innings without giving up a hit. With last nights game Keller became the first National League pitcher to complete back-to-back no-hit outings of at least five innings each since Vander Meer’s consecutive no-hitters on June 11-15, 1938.
The Pirates and Indians will play again this evening at 7:10 p.m. Pregame on WISR 680am starts at 6:45 p.m.
