The Pittsburgh Pirates fell to the Baltimore Orioles 10-9 last night in exhibition baseball. The Bucs had 16 hits in the game, led by Philip Evans who had four hits, two RBI’s and three runs scored. He is the first Pirates player to have a four-hit spring training game since Adam Frazier in 2017. Five other Pirate players had two hits. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak. The Pirates host Detroit today. They have five spring training games left before they head to Chicago. The Bucs open their MLB regular season scheduled next Thursday at Wrigley Field against the Cubs.
