The Pittsburgh Pirates selected four pitchers with their picks in rounds two through five Thursday in the Major League Baseball draft. High school pitcher Jared Jones from California was the 44th overall selection by the Bucs in the second round. They selected three college pitchers after that – Nick Garcia of Division III Chapman University in Califorina, Jack Hartman of Appalachian State and Logan Hofman of Northwestern State in Lousiana. All are right-handed pitchers.
