The Pittsburgh Pirates won their final home game of the year with a 7-0 victory over the Chicago Cubs. The Pirates hit four home runs in the game and got another quality start. Chad Kuhl ended his season with seven-innings of shutout baseball. He allowed two hits and struck out five.
Colin Moran hit his ninth home run of the year and added a double. Josh Bell hit his eighth home run. Adam Frazier hit his seventh and Bryan Reynolds his sixth round-tripper. Reynolds and Moran had three hits each.
The Pirates begin their final three-game series of the 60-game season tonight in Cleveland. First pitch is 7:10pm. Mitch Keller will make his final start of the season.

The Pirates complete their season Sunday with a 3:10pm game time against the Indians.
The Pirates begin the weekend one game worse than the Texas Rangers in a battle for the top overall pick in the Major League Baseball Draft next year. The Pirates are 18-39 overall and have won three games in a row. The Rangers are 19-38 and have lost three in a row.
The Pittsburgh chapter of the Baseball Writers Association of America has named catcher Jacob Stallings as the team Most Valuable Player.
