The Pittsburgh Pirates have signed veteran power-hitting first baseman/designated hitter Daniel Vogelbach and reliever Heath Hembree. Vogelbach was an American League All-Star in 2019 when he hit 30 home runs for Seattle. Hembree was a member of the Boston Red Sox most recent World Series win. He pitched for the New York Mets and Cincinnati Reds last year.
